TASTE OF EASTIE
Taste of Eastie is East Boston’s signature food festival and a 30-year tradition that brings together the neighborhood’s most exciting restaurants, chefs, and flavors for one unforgettable waterfront experience. The event showcases the depth and diversity of Eastie’s culinary scene—spanning Latin American staples, global cuisines, and local favorites—while drawing a large, engaged audience of residents, visitors, and citywide influencers. For participating restaurants, it’s a high-impact platform to build brand visibility, test new offerings, and connect directly with new customers; for sponsors, it’s a chance to align with a beloved community event and reach a vibrant, loyal audience. Simply put, Taste of Eastie is where great food meets real exposure—and where East Boston shows up hungry.
A PILOT INITIATIVE IN EASTIE WITH EAST BOSTON MAIN STREETS
Our mission is to breathe new life into local communities by strategically placing engaging sculptures, vibrant murals, and interactive artworks in our Main Streets.
Specifically we:
Help Businesses Grow
We help our small and micro-businesses grow and thrive by providing technical assistance and business support. This includes connecting businesses to programs that provide help with business planning, customer acquisition, inventory systems, marketing, English language learning for business owners, and more.
Promote the Neighborhood
We promote the East Boston neighborhood via relationship and community building among businesses, residents, and visitors. Examples include our signature events: Taste of Eastie, Eastie Week, Eastie Shines, Countdown to Kindergarten
Make Physical Improvements
We work to create physical improvements to the business district (East Boston’s ‘squares’) that makes the area welcoming to businesses, residents, and visitors. This includes storefront renovations to improve the look of businesses, as well as streetscape improvements like wayfinding signs, tree pits, and plantings.
